March 25, 2006 Here you will find all the latest news and information pertaining to US Route 20 on the national scene. We will also inform you on new features planned for this site. We are still planning on highlighting each month either a city, town or region where the road travels through describing those unique points of interest that make US Route 20 the "Grand Daddy" of all roads in America. You will see shortly our pictures of a trip made in the summer of 2000 on Route 20 from Albany, NY to Boone, Iowa. If any of you are planning a trip and would be willing to share your experiences, please contact us either by email or by using the feedback page. We have redesigned the look of our Website again. Hopefully it will be more user friendly! We have tried to consolidate the site a bit, so that all the states news, events, photos, road trips and any associations are on one web page. You can get to all your favorite state information along the highway through the Road Trips section. We have revised our opening page to include a Site Map, which hopefully will explain all the sections we have. We will be bringing to you exclusive articles about US Route 20 from time to time that you won't find anywhere else. The first of these articles is: WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS: US Route 20 in the Hill Towns by Joe Manning and was written exclusively for us. Check it out! Read about the "Ends of the Highway" Check out the Article on US ROUTE 20 from the Idaho News. Visit the State Road Information links on each Road Trip page. Visit the Archives section for new links to photos of Route 20. One again, if you have any articles, news items, photos, or just plain folklore that you will be willing to share, please contact us either by email or feedback. Your help in building this site will be greatly appreciated. |
